Basketball27: MC Open Court
Open Court in MyCareer, played the same way as the Basketball 26 package: put your player on the tip-off spot, then shooting, board crashes and contesting shots go to MAN. The package starts the match.

- Finish Connect PS5 or Connect Xbox first; streaming and controller input must work.
- Apply the in-game settings below once.
In-game settings
Every setting below changes how stable recognition is — check them line by line. If you played Basketball 26, re-check anyway: camera and Takeover indicator differ.

Pick a shot range in MAN
With Basketball27: MC Open Court selected, the Shot range parameter in the settings area decides where shots come from:

| Near | Mid-range shots, spotting up closer to the rim. |
| Left corner (beta) | Near-range shots walk the left-corner diagonal: the approach converges toward the center of the spot band, then recenters sideways by distance and speed once in position. Stands steadier. |
Pick it before you start a run.
Getting into position
- Enter Open Court in MyCareer.
- Stand on the glowing tip-off spot at center court until “Open Court Menu” appears at your feet.
- Stay there — do not start the match yourself. Lineups and tip-off are handled by the automation.
Run your first game
Standing on the tip-off spot with “Open Court Menu” at your feet:
- In MAN, confirm Basketball27: MC Open Court is the selected configuration.
- Press RUN on the run card; if the stream dropped, it reconnects first.
- Keeping the Shot Meter visible makes each release easy to double-check by eye.
The first three games are special
The first three games on a new save are special: the screens and flow differ from a normal game, and the automation can stumble here. Watch these three runs; if one goes wrong, play it by hand as below — after the third game everything behaves normally.
Hand play uses the Manual Stream configuration (the manual chain): selectable in any mode, it runs no automation — you get the streamed picture plus a keyboard mapping and play the game yourself. See the Manual Stream guide for the full details.
- Press STOP in MAN.
- Select Manual Stream in the configuration list and press RUN, then play the game out with the keyboard.
- Press STOP, switch back to Basketball27: MC Open Court, then press RUN again to continue.
