Basketball27: MT Triple Threat Breakout

Triple Threat Breakout in MyTEAM. You stop on the MyTEAM Play page; entering the mode, picking tiles on the board, playing matches, claiming rewards and starting the next round are all MAN's job.

MT uses red, unlike Streetball King. MAN only follows the red flame; red walls, floors and scoreboards are never mistaken for you.

With Green lock on, MAN watches the green timing window on this meter. Set Size to Large, not Medium, or MAN can't read the meter reliably.

2Get into position

  1. Open MyTEAMStop on the MyTEAM Play page with the BREAKOUT card in view
  2. Don't go in yourselfFinding the card, entering Triple Threat and confirming the round are MAN's job
  3. Lineup can waitIf the lineup has expired or has gaps, MAN uses the game's auto-fill and picks "Best"

3Set your Breakout goal

The board has three layers. Clear every tile except the outer ring and the centre, and the centre becomes a portal to the next layer. Reward points and remaining losses (3) reset on each layer. The outer-ring tiles on each side map to three reward tiers:

Layer Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3
Layer 1 5 pts 10 pts 15 pts
Layer 2 20 pts 40 pts 60 pts

Choose in the Breakout goal card at the top of the parameters:

Parameter Options What it does
Target layer Layer 1, Layer 2 Layer 2 is marked "Untested" while we verify it on real consoles; layer 3 is coming soon.
Target reward tier Tier 1 / 2 / 3, Clear everything Tiers 1–3: once the points are in, claim the drops, play the tiers and finish with the gatekeeper — no need to clear the rings, the fastest round. Clear everything: clear every inner tile, take one reward at the layer's highest tier, then take the portal; as soon as layer 2 opens the round ends and a new one starts. Default tier 3.
When reached Fight the gatekeeper, End the round Fight the gatekeeper (default): after the goal tier, beat the gatekeeper to end the round with the reward. End the round: end it right away and start a new one.
  1. Clear tilesOutwards from the centre, nearest grey tile first; only 3v3 match tiles are played
  2. Claim drops / vaultsWheel, drop and vault tiles are claimed and result screens continued
  3. Play the goal tierEach tier can be taken once per layer; a second tile of the same tier brings the gatekeeper
  4. Gatekeeper or end roundFinishes as set in "When reached"; with "Clear everything" the round ends after the portal
  5. Next round on its ownAfter confirming, a new round starts, looping until the run time is up

If no playable tile is found (after one retry), MAN waits on the board for you. If the goal tile can't be reached or no gatekeeper appears, it ends the round instead.

4Offense in matches

In matches MAN only plays offense: when "24" appears in the centre at the start of a possession it presses ✕ for the ball, walks along the arc to the shooting spot and shoots once settled. It never presses ✕ otherwise during play, calls for the ball again after a change of possession, and never starts a rematch.

Parameter What it does
Shot gear Standing fake-pass shot (default: fake → short wait → shot), Stepback shot (step back in the chosen direction once in position), Screen stepback (hold L1 to call the screen, read the left/right arrow, then step back), Random mix (each possession draws one of the ticked shot types).
Stepback direction For stepback shots, right by default.
Stepback L1 hold / left & right timing For screen stepbacks: how long L1 is held watching for the arrow, and the hold for left and right stepbacks. No arrow → left stepback.
Green lock On (default): releases on the green window; off: fixed "Shot timing".
Release latency Release compensation for green lock — higher releases earlier; factory value 170. Tune it like Streetball King's green lock.

The Offense zones dialog holds the three-point zone (a band beyond the line, measured on the recognized court, in meters): From the 3-pt line default −0.25 m (negative = inside the line) and Ring width default 1.8 m; the left/right range is the whole screen by default. The Movement dialog has only "Release lead", default 0.8 s — stops too deep → raise; stops short → lower. Other holds the defensive spot range and when to crash after the shot feedback.

5Start and follow progress

  1. Pick a Duration, press StartWhen time is up MAN finishes the current match first
  2. Check Current sessionLayer, reward points, next tier, losses left, tiles cleared and rounds done
  3. Earnings in MT coinsMT "before → now", this session, per hour and per match

Turn on "Show session data on the monitor" to see Breakout progress on the monitor overlay and in the remote console on your phone.

Troubleshooting

  • Wrong player: check the indicator is a red flame, then the camera.
  • Stopped on the board: the event log says why, e.g. "Board stuck, waiting for you" or "This layer needs you to play". Sort it out with the controller, then press Stop and Start in MAN.
  • Stuck on layer 2: with a layer 1 goal, MAN ends the round as soon as layer 2 opens and starts again. If you walked into layer 2 yourself, end the round to get back to layer 1, then press Start.
  • Lineup never fills: after two auto-fills with gaps MAN stops and tells you; set the lineup in the game first.
  • Anything else: see the FAQ or bring the monitor view and event log to the community.
