Connect PS5
The PS5 settings and pairing are one-time steps.
Before connecting
- Turn on the PS5 and put it on the same local network as the computer.
- Open Settings → System → Remote Play, enable Enable Remote Play, then open Link Device and keep the eight-digit pairing code visible.
Switching PSN accounts resets this switch. The code is single-use and expires when you leave the page.
- Under Settings → Screen and Video → Video Output → HDR, select Off.
MAN establishes the stream in SDR; HDR causes an output-mode mismatch.
- Leave accessibility options at their defaults: no button remapping, no high-contrast display.
The automation sends inputs on the standard layout, and recognition depends on normal colors.
- To wake the PS5 from Rest Mode, enable Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning On PS5 from Network under Settings → System → Power Saving → Features Available in Rest Mode.
Pair in MAN
During first launch, select PS5 → Pair PS5. From the dashboard, open console settings and select Edit setup.
- Select Find on the Console row. If MAN cannot find it, choose manual input and enter the local IPv4 address, such as
192.168.x.x. - Enter your PSN Online ID, not the login email.
- Select Get Account ID and wait for MAN to fill the field.
- Return to Settings → System → Remote Play → Link Device on the PS5.
- Enter the eight-digit code in MAN, then select Pair for the first time.
Pairing data belongs to the PSN account that was looked up: after switching accounts or computers, pair once more.
