Connect Xbox

Enable remote features once on the console, then sign in with Microsoft and select it in MAN.

Before connecting

  1. Turn on the Xbox and connect it to the internet, ideally through the same router as the computer.
  2. Open Settings → Devices & connections → Remote features and enable remote features.

If the console reports remote features as unavailable, finish the checks it shows first.

  3. Keep display modes standard: turn off HDR, Auto HDR, Dolby Vision and high contrast.
  4. Sign in to MAN with the Microsoft account linked to this Xbox; the sign-in must be able to see this console through Xbox services.
  5. Plug controllers into the PC. No controller (wireless included) should stay connected to the console — a directly paired controller fights the automation for input.
  6. MAN starts the game, not you. Some games bind whichever controller was active at launch, and a console-side pad cannot be driven through the stream.

Consoles are retrieved through your account. You do not enter a local address or pairing code.

Connect in MAN

During first launch, select Xbox → Pair Xbox. From the dashboard, open console settings, select Edit setup, and switch to Xbox.

  1. Select Start sign-in on the Microsoft account row. Complete the Microsoft sign-in in the browser and keep MAN open.
  2. Return to MAN and wait until the status changes to Signed in.
  3. Select Get consoles.
  4. Choose the Xbox you want to use.
  5. Optionally enter a display name, then select Save connection.
