Basketball27: MC Streetball King
Streetball games in MyCareer. MAN finds the entry, picks the opponent, fills the squad and starts the match; inside the game it takes over according to the mode you picked — full shooting, rebounding and defense, or passing and rebounding only.
Status
Beta: the full flow runs end to end, but there are still plenty of bugs and it is less stable than the ready packages. The beta is distributed through the QQ group — join via the community page, pick up the beta build and the latest notes there, and report problems in the group.
Before you start
- Finish Connect PS5 or Connect Xbox first; streaming and controller input must work.
- Apply the in-game settings below.
- On a new build, the first 3 matches in Streetball King carry tutorial prompts and look different from a normal game — play them by hand (switch to Manual Stream, see the Manual Stream guide), or watch MAN through them and check for mistakes. After those 3 it is basically smooth.
In-game settings
Identical to Basketball27: MC Open Court — check every line of that table. The critical ones: Camera 2K Classic, Zoom 5, Height 10; Player Indicator On, style Basketball · Green · Large; Takeover Indicator Off; Shot Feedback All shots with all four toggles on; difficulty on one of the two easiest levels.
If you played Basketball 26, re-check anyway: camera and Takeover indicator differ. The remaining items are listed in the Open Court guide.
Picking your lineup in MAN
With Basketball27: MC Streetball King selected, the parameter area adds the lineup choices:
| Parameter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Mode | Shoot + rebound + hands up takes over shooting, board crashes and contesting — the same shape as MC Open Court. Pass + rebound only takes over passing and rebounding, without the standard offense flow. |
| Shot range | Far (three-pointers, default) or Near (mid-range): switches the shooting zone; Near sits closer to the basket. |
| Court / Opponent | The court decides the opponent list. Opponents sit on a 3×5 grid numbered left to right, top to bottom; the default is the first slot. |
| Self slot | The slot your player takes in the opening lineup, 1–3, default 2. |
| Mate 1 right / Mate 2 right | How many left-stick moves to the right on each teammate's selection page, 0–10. |
Tuning parameters
| Parameter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Shot timing | How long the shoot button is held (SQUARE on PS, X on Xbox). Default 548 ms, range 10–900, steps of 10. Early releases raise it, late ones lower it; edits apply live, and all-green releases mean it is calibrated. |
| Release rebound | Wait between a non-green shot feedback and the board crash. Default 0.5 s, range 0.1–5.0 s; usually leave it alone. |
| L1 hold / L1 gap / Triangle gap | Passing-chain timing, only shown in Pass + rebound mode; usually leave them alone. |
After changing builds, camera or stream quality, calibrate shot timing again.
Getting into position
- Enter MyCareer and stop at the lobby screen where the entries are visible — not inside a conversation, a store or a game.
- Don't open the streetball opponent selection yourself: picking, squad fill and the tip-off are handled by MAN.
Run your first game
- In MAN, confirm Basketball27: MC Streetball King is selected and the lineup and parameters are set as above.
- Press RUN on the run card; if the stream dropped, it reconnects first.
- Keeping the Shot Meter visible makes each release easy to double-check by eye.
During the beta
- If it stalls on a menu, the selection grid or a results screen, click past it with your controller, then press STOP and RUN in MAN to continue.
- For drifts, wrong-player locks or odd shots, post the screen and the steps to the QQ group via the community page instead of fighting it with parameter changes.
- Follow the group's latest notes for beta builds and parameters.
