Basketball26: MC Open Court · Setup guide

Basketball26: MC Open Court runs games automatically in the Open Court scenario of MyCareer: MAN handles shot selection, rebounds and hands-up defense.

Before you start

  1. Finish Connect PS5 or Connect Xbox first.
  2. Apply the in-game settings once; after that it is only positioning.
  3. In MAN, select Basketball26: MC Open Court.

In-game settings

Every setting below changes how stable recognition is — check them line by line.

Where Set to Why
Settings → Camera Shake / Replays / Highlights / Cuts all Off Camera cutaways shake or cover the picture.
Customize HUD → Player Indicator On, style Basketball · Green · Large This is the marker the automation uses to find your player; any other style fails positioning outright.
Customize HUD → Shot Feedback Display All shots, Position Top center, distance / timing / free-throw % / contest all On The automation reads this feedback to judge each shot; with any part missing it stops going for rebounds.
Controller Settings → Layup Timing Off Layups are then finished by the AI.
Controller Settings → Call For P&R Vs Fade Pass mode to Manual, rest of the group at defaults Supports offensive play-calling.
In match → Camera Perspective High, Height 5, Zoom 5; everything else at defaults Recognition is calibrated for exactly this camera; other angles will not match.

Takeover

One rule: only select a takeover you already qualify for — it decides the player indicator's color.

  1. Under Progression → Takeover (press R2), pick a takeover you already qualify for.
  2. Set Customize HUD → Takeover Indicator to On — same HUD menu as the player indicator.
  3. If the selected takeover does not qualify yet, the indicator turns red the moment it activates: the automation locks onto the wrong player, positioning falls apart and your grade drops to F.
  4. On a brand-new build nothing qualifies yet? Leave the takeover indicator Off for now (step 2 stays off), then come back and switch it on once you unlock a takeover you qualify for.

Getting into position

  1. Enter Open Court in MyCareer.
  2. Stand on the glowing tip-off spot at center court until “Open Court Menu” appears at your feet.
  3. Stay there — do not start the match yourself. Lineups and tip-off are handled by the automation.

Package parameters

Starting a run

Once you are standing on the spot and the screen shows “Open Court Menu”:

  1. In MAN, confirm Basketball26: MC Open Court is selected.
  2. Click RUN on the Run card. If the stream is down, it reconnects first.
  3. Turning the game's Shot Meter on makes each shot easier to follow.

While it runs

Stalls, disconnects, cold touch and wrong-player tracking: see FAQ.

Shot-timing calibration

  1. Shots consistently early → raise the value; late → lower it. A quicker release package needs a smaller number.
  2. No need to stop the run: adjust live while games are running; you are calibrated once every release lands green.
  3. The value is how long the shot button is held, in ms (SQUARE on PS, X on Xbox); every release follows it exactly.
  4. After changing your build, camera or stream quality, recalibrate.
